Herbal Tea, Made Simple: New Tea Essentials Page

5/24/2026

Picture
I'm sharing something new today because herbal tea is one of the simplest ways to bring plants into daily life, and it's especially helpful when the basics are all in one place.

Over time, I've noticed a common feeling: people are curious about herbal tea but aren't always sure where to begin. How much do you use? How long do you steep? What does "start small" look like in real life? And what safety reminders should always be stated clearly?

So I created a page that gathers the essentials in a calm, practical way:

Tea Essentials: Herbal Tea Information & Brewing Basics
https://www.theindigenousway.com/tea-essentials.html

On the page you'll find:
  • A simple how-to for brewing dried herbs (with steep times and an easy method)
  • Notes on why covering your cup matters while steeping
  • Storage tips to help keep herbs fresh
  • A clear safety & warnings section (because respect is part of the practice)
  • A set of simple tea recipes you can use as a starting point

I also included my Amazon shop link to the tools and products I personally purchase and use for tea-making, in case it helps you find what you need without extra searching.

If you visit the Tea Essentials page, I hope it feels like a steady guide, something you can return to whenever you want a warm cup and a clear, grounded way to begin.

And if you'd like to explore my books and other items:

Start small. Listen to your body. If you're pregnant/nursing, on medication, or managing a condition, consult a qualified healthcare professional before using medicinal herbs regularly.

Thank you for being here.

Herbal Lessons & Natural Remedies: It’s Finally Here!

There are moments in life when you can feel it clearly: you don’t need more noise, you need something natural, steady, and true.

That’s why I’m grateful to finally begin to introduce some of my information through The Indigenous Way.

Herbal Lessons & Natural Remedies, a growing, living resource designed to help you reconnect with simple wellness practices that support everyday life.

This isn’t about hype. It isn’t about quick fixes.

It’s about returning to what’s been here all along: plant wisdom, daily rhythm, and practical ways to care for yourself with respect.

The Herbal Lessons page is a hub, a starting place where I’ll be sharing and organizing natural wellness resources in a way that’s easy to explore.

Inside, you’ll find a clear path to the areas I’m building out, including my lifetime notes about tea, books, and remedies that I personally use.

And yes, this updated page includes links to where you can get the items as you explore.

Over time, I’ve learned that many people want natural options, but they don’t want to be overwhelmed.

So this is my way of offering a guided doorway, a place you can return to when you’re ready to simplify, reset, and strengthen your foundation.

This is the official starting point for my collections:

Herbal Lessons (The Indigenous Way)

I’ll be sharing more blog posts soon that go deeper into each section. But for now, this first post is simply an opening, an introduction, and an invitation.

If you visit the page, I’d love to know:

What are you hoping to support right now, more energy, better rest, digestion, calm, or something else?
