Cohanzick People on the Water

Flowing Memories: Capturing the Essence of Cohanzick Lifeblood of Indigenous People

In celebration of the profound connection to my land and the spirits that dwell within it, I present the Cohanzick people on the waters. Through the lens of my collective heritage, these photographs capture the essence of the Cohanzick River, ponds, and streams, the story of the timeless beauty that has echoed through the ages.

Envision the whispers of my ancestors echoing through the winding curves of our Cohanzick waters. Each photograph is a testament to the enduring dance between water and life, mirroring the journey of our Indigenous families whose footsteps have left an indelible mark on this sacred landscape.

Witness the reflections of our shared past, the shimmering waters embodying the stories passed down through generations. The ponds and streams captured in these images carry the echoes of laughter, the rustle of leaves, and the gentle flow of time, resonating with the harmony that binds us to the earth.

Feel the vibration of water as it feeds the flora and fauna of our families that call the Cohanzick home. Each image is a testament to the resilience of our collective consciousness, a vivid reminder of the interdependence between our humanity and the natural world.

Imagine the photographs as a bridge between the past, present, and the promise of the future. May the Cohanzick River, ponds, and streams captured in these images inspire a profound responsibility for us to protect and cherish this sacred land, ensuring its beauty for the next seven generations and beyond.
