Cohanzick Lenape Shell Work Photos
I practiced shell art since the 1980's. I personally gather the scallop shells from Shell Pile, which was about 4 miles from my home at that time. I make pendants, pouches and hair ornaments. I was honored when I was asked to make a scallop shell pouch that was given to the Princess of Sweden during her visit to the Tribal Nation.
